Garbage and Recycling

June 6, 2023 - August 1, 2023

Hello Vista Community!!

Below is are new easy Garbage/ Recycling do’s and don’ts for everyone. We share the property so please be respectful of your neighbours and follow the rules of what goes where.

Please do not “dump” items beside the bins. If your item is too large to fit in the molok system then it’s your responsibility to dispose of it at the proper drop off location. (some examples below).

Also, please don’t leave items for others to sort through and take. It’s your responsibility to take them to the drop-off depot. eg: Value Village or thrift stores etc.

I also ask that you flatten your cardboard boxes. It makes room for everyone else to be able to fit their recycling in the bin as well.

**Garbage gets picked up on Mondays and Recycling on Thursdays***

Sometimes the bins appear to be full but it could be that things have piled up right at the entrance of the bin and just need a good push to move them away from the entrance. If the bin is full, we ask that you keep your recyclables at home until the bins have been emptied that week.

Here’s a list of some items that need to be taken to appropriate drop off locations:
