The Society of Hope is a Christian faith based group that provides quality affordable housing to a diverse population of families, seniors, and individuals. Our rental housing developments strengthen the communities in which we’re located. We have a 30-year history of providing housing in desirable locations close to schools, transit, and amenities and believe income should not be a barrier to accessing safe, quality housing. Our Tenants find our residential properties to be well located, warm, and inviting—a place to call home.

Our Approach

We believe we’re called to respond to the challenge of Jesus to “love your neighbor as yourself”. We approach people with care and respect and act with integrity. It’s important to us to work collaboratively to support each resident and to care for our properties to ensure we are providing quality affordable residential living.

Although the Society of Hope develops affordable housing through funding partnerships with all levels of government, we also accept cash donations to assist our work providing supports for women and children at risk of homelessness.
